Hunt & Co. Records Hunt & Co. of Chicago sold many chips to illegal clubs between 1930 and 1960, either on their own in-house 'chain' & 'plain' (stackrite) molds or on the 'Balls New Era' checks (also a 'plain' mold). After Hunt bought the Taylor & Co. molds in 1960 they also used the generic Burt Co. 'diamond square' chips which they stamped themselves. Under the Taylor name they continued to sell chips on the 'T' and 'Harp' molds. Records for those will be found in the Taylor & Co. section. Howard Herz obtained the original Hunt & Co records. They were published in 2001, "Howdy’s Guide To Hunt & Co Monogrammed Gaming Checks & Chips". These records contain chips made on the following and other similar molds.
